Planes

20 minutes from San Diego International Airport (Airport Code SAN)

American Airlines flies direct from Boston to San Diego. There is a flight that leaves ~4 or 5PM direct to San Diego.

Delta has several connecting flights from BOS to SAN. Most of the fly through Atlanta.

Jet Blue also has to connecting flights from BOS to SAN. You'll need to wait until April 1st before you can book your ticket.

US Airway has connecting flights through Arizona that are pretty good.
